BCA (Bachelor of Computer Application) is a three-year full-time course designed to cater to the needs of the students aspiring to excel in the field of computers. This program is extended to six semesters each with duration of six months. In this programme, besides computers, a student gets diverse knowledge of Management, Financial Accounting and Management, Production and Operations Management etc.

Some colleges conduct Group Discussion and Personal Interviews for short-listed candidates. Others offer admissions based on the Merit List generated by combining the performance in Written Entrance Test and 12th Exam.
The eligibility criterion for most colleges is a minimum of 50% marks in XII standard in the Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination of the CBSE (or any other exam recognized as its equivalent) in single attempt. Students appearing for the exam in this academic year are also eligible.
