BBAGuru is a comprehensive course for your preparation for CBS and other BBA Entrance examinations, with approximately 80 contact hours. The complete course material - Guru Fundae will be provided to you at the time of admission.
Weekly classroom sessions, in each of the skills i.e. English & Comprehension, Quantitative Ability, Reasoning, and General &Business Awareness, focus on concept strengthening and basic applications through topic-wise speed building modules. A few weeks into the program, enhanced applications including short-cut techniques are covered, and your absolute progress is tracked by personalized skill-development tests. Levels of Personalized skill-development tests (or YOUnique Tests) adjust with the pace with which each candidate learns, thus helping him/her reach his/her best till the time of actual exam. This customized learning has been pioneered and effectively applied by Roots Education and has shown amazing results.
After about a month of classroom coaching, the aspirants are given the experience of actual entrance exam through mock tests on the pattern of previous years' BBA Entrance exams. These are supported by interactive sessions with MBAs from top B-Schools like IIM, IIT, S.P. Jain etc. to help the aspirants develop optimal strategies to crack the mock tests.

Group Discussion and Personal Interview fundamentals, practice Personal Interviews, and practice Group Discussions are conducted by IIM alumni, who also provide you comprehensive individual feedback to ensure that you are thoroughly prepared to clear the final hurdle.

Course Components - Detailed
Basic and Advanced concepts in English (Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension) and Math (Quantitative Ability) will be developed through interactive skill-sessions. The basis of the concept development is the Guru-fundae books.
The English sessions will focus on developing grammar, vocabulary and verbal reasoning fundamentals as applicable in the context of entrance exams. A major portion of English Section comprises of Vocabulary based questions. Vocabulary is enhanced through the latest technique of visual relations. The The RC sessions will focus on improving reading speed, and developing passage comprehension and techniques to tackle the different types of questions tested in entrance exams.
The QA sessions will focus on developing advanced techniques to tackle Arithmetic, Algebra, and Geometry questions tested in various entrance exams. The Reasoning sessions will focus on developing Data Interpretation and Data Sufficiency skills, and also the analytical skills required to solve Logical Reasoning problems.
Short and intense topic wise tests in all the core subjects, in every session, will assist you in applying the concept knowledge gained, in improving upon your speed and accuracy, and in identifying your strong and weak areas. The tests correspond to the concepts discussed in the class during a skill-session. The basis of your speed development is the Guru-gati tests.
These Gyaan sessions will build the overall perspective of the student with sessions on current as well as past environment in the field of business covering various aspects of Marketing, Finance, Macro-Economics, Strategy, etc. These sessions would also include a quick recap of all the topics under General knowledge section.
Your individual skill levels in English, Math, and Reasoning will be gauged every week through individualized skill tests, and your tests for a particular week will be decided on your previous week's performance. In this way, the skill tests will adapt to your skill level and provide you with your absolute performance benchmark. The basis of your individual skill development is the Guru-mantra test.
A series of 6 full-length tests, developed by MBAs from the IIMs, will simulate the actual exams. The mentors will help students develop their own YOUnique strategy for the final exam, based on their strengths and weaknesses, so as to achieve the best possible results.
Some institutes have Group Discussion and Interview as the second round of selection procedure. This program will begin with providing the basic fundae for GD and Interview followed by strengthening your Interview and GD Skills through practice. Apart from sessions on General and Business Awareness, which build the overall perspective of the student, complete knowledge of various functional streams offered in management schools like Finance, Macro-Economics, Strategy, Marketing etc is provided.
The written Entrance Exams of Hotel management test the Scientific Aptitude and Service sector aptitude of a candidate apart from testing his knowledge in English Language, Quantitative Ability, Reasoning & Logical Deduction, General Knowledge & Current Affairs. These areas are extensively covered in the classroom sessions whereby an overall service orientation is developed in the candidate.

Law tests a student on Legal Aptitude and Legal Reasoning apart from English, Math and General Knowledge covered under BBAGuru program. Law Top-up gives the complete understanding of the basics of law starting from an introduction to the field of law, taking through the terminologies, giving the fundamentals of Constitution and providing an introduction to Business Law that covers the Company Law, Factories Act, Legal Documents, etc. Legal Reasoning is taught through Case studies, which give a student an overall perspective as well as in-depth understanding of legal implications involved.
